Morocco in Hawaii

Morocco on Hawaii Public Radio

Hawaii is recognized as the bridge between East and West, but where does the Northern African country of Morocco fit into that geographical paradigm?

HPR's Kayla Rosenfeld spoke with members of the Friends of Morocco about the connection, and how the Hawaii-based group is working to build relations between the two people.  Being interviewed are Honorary Consul M Jan Rumi, Mae Mendelson, and Red Briou.

The Moroccan Art-Tea Party was a benefit for the Honolulu-Rabat Sister City Project, which fosters economic, cultural and social development.
